Ommegang Witte
Style: Witbier
Crafted for summer session drinking, is a traditional white ale, or witbier; pale in color, with a high, white frothy head and refreshing flavors of orange, lemon, coriander, and wheat. Witte is also Brewery Ommegang's first ale to be offered on draft.
Great for a picnic with light summer foods, appetizers, salads, and barbeques. Or take to the beach, and watch the clouds drift by.
Serve in Weizen glass, the classic German wheat beer glass is tall, narrow and flared at the top emphasizing this beer's hazy yellow appearance, and allowing the bright white and abundant head to stack. Or in a Tumbler glass which will also highlight the characteristics of these witbiers.
