Denis Lynch
Spirits Buyer, Vine & Table gourmet market

Denis Lynch Vine & Table gourmet market

I am a true homegrown Irishman hailing from the only county you really need to know about, Cork. Like myself, all great things come from Cork including Beamish Stout, Clonakilty blood pudding, Barry’s Tea, funny accents and of course whiskey. Whiskey, beer, wine and all manner of spirits are in my blood (figuratively speaking of course!). I first started my career in my Great Aunty Maisey’s pub in New Tipperary, Donoughmore, pouring pints and small drops to the auld lads after the fair.

Little did I think back then that I would be taking a short hop, skip and a jump over to the U.S of A. But here I am and I have been with Vine & Table since the beginning. I am the spirits buyer for the store and our sister company Kahn’s Catering. I like to think that I have found my niche here in the US. I have a great love for all things spirits-wise and have developed our offerings here at Vine & Table to include the best Single Malt selection in Indiana. Pop in and see me for a chinwag and a small drop next time you are in Carmel. view all my posts

Jayne Reed
Web Manager, Vine & Table gourmet market

Jayne ReedHi, I’m Jayne Reed... aka the Tasty Traveler. Who am I? I am a wife... and ex-wife, mom, sister, friend, teammate, pet-owner, co-worker... and life-long foodie. Who am I not? A writer.  However, I do have a love of food and a profound interest in people and the cultures in which they live. Since my earliest days I thought it was totally unfair that we have only one existence. I've wanted nothing more than to live in and experience every culture, in every time period. Why? Let’s just say I’m curious, somewhat adventurous, and not afraid of much. The second unusual thing about me – and there are only two Wink -  is that no matter what I do, where I go, what I think, or to whom I speak; for some reason unknown to me, all action inevitably take me to one veritable place – food. At the end of the day, it all comes down to one thing - I love everything that has to do with food! I wouldn’t call it a fixation. I would just call it DNA. So here I am a non-writing, culture loving, food-centric enthusiast who will spend the next however long blogging her thoughts, consumptions, and a casual reverie of all things food- wherever it might take me...

Oh, one more thing about me, I like sharing; sharing experiences, recipes, tips, thoughts, and great finds. I’d like to share these with you, my culinary companion. So, please do pop in occasionally and check out my latest post. I would also enjoy hearing your feedback and comments. After all, isn’t the most enjoyable journey the one you share together? view all my posts

Matt Dailey
Beer Cave Specialist, Vine & Table gourmet market

Matt Dailey Beer Specialist

I'm a native Hoosier, hailing from the eastside of Indianapolis. For the last four years, I had been living in New York's Hudson Valley while I attended the Culinary Institute of America (CIA) in Hyde Park, New York. After graduating with my BPS in Culinary Arts Management, I stayed at the CIA to be a teaching assistant in Meat and Fish Fabrication. After a year of teaching students how to, among other things, breakdown chickens and gut whole fish, I returned to Indianapolis looking to round out my culinary experience with the beverage component. I knew of Vine & Table's stellar reputation for providing the best wines, spirits, and beers, and luckily, they let me join the team!

Beer has always been a recreation, not a career, for me until I started working here! I try to bring the newest and tastiest brews to the store for you to enjoy. While my specialty is beer, it would be my pleasure to help you find the perfect bottle of wine or recommend a new and exciting spirit for cocktails! Drop in anytime to talk beer, wine, and spirits, swap recipes, or just to say, "Hi!" À votre santé! view all my posts
