Indianapolis Wine

Bring a little fun into Fall with this warm spiced wine. Gather your friends around the fire pit on a cool evening and enjoy the warmth and spice from this easy and delicious Gluhwein. Schlink Haus Red, sometimes called Dornfelder, is a delightfully fruity red wine that is full-bodied with flavors of blackberries and perfect for making Gluhwein.

Ingredients:
2 Bottles red wine (Schlink Haus sweet red wine)
3 Cups water
1 Lemon, sliced
20 Whole cloves
6-8 Cinnamon sticks
1 Orange, sliced for garnish

Directions:
1. Mix water, lemon and spices and simmer over medium low heat for an hour. Strain.
2. Heat, but do not boil, the red wine.
3. Add the heated wine to the hot water mixture.
4. Ladle Gluhwein into cups and serve warm with half a slice of orange or serve chilled over ice.
