Tasted from tank just before bottling, the Jadot 2006 Meursault (from a range of purchased fruit) smells of over-ripe peach, pear, and musk melon; coats the palate with creamy fruit and nut paste; and finishes with imposing breadth and persistence for a village wine.
Meursault is rich enough to match foods like fish in a cream sauce, shellfish, poultry with cream and white meat.
