Blackberries, dark plums and cassis join nuances of spice and smoke that are characteristic of the variety aged in new french oak. Its a wine of great generosity, rich ripe and round with excellent length.
Quite ripe and toasty, with a hefty dose of mocha and coffee laid over the fleshy dark plum, currant and blackberry fruit. Stays toasty through the finish, but this is well-integrated, with the fruit an equal match. -WS
