Gevrey-Chambertin wines are deep-coloured and possess intense aromatic bouquet reminiscent of blackcurrant and other red and black berries. The wines are renowned for their power wich is always in harmony with a certain dose of smooth tannins. The structure of a Gevrey-Chambertin is such that it will last a long time- 5 to 15 years.
